This month’s Leader Spotlight is Dylan Carroll! Dylan is a student at Trinity School of Medicine Clinical Sciences Medical Chapter, pursuing a focus in Emergency Medicine/Infectious Disease.

Why did you join Â鶹Դ´?
I joined AMSAto become connected to medicine on a personal level. Everyone gets into the medical profession for a vast number of reasons, but the central theme is knowing and helping your fellow man. AMSAbrings people together.
Why did you become an AMSAleader?
I became an AMSALeader because I have seen the the positive impact that AMSAhas on the community that I wanted to be able to help continue its growth.
What is your Favorite AMSAMoment?
The recent national convention was a big highlight for the year so far. Hundreds of people coming together with so much energy and passion for medicine that it was palpable. I was able to connect with like-minded individuals and share ideas that I will be able to implement in the coming year.
What advice would you give to current & future AMSAleaders?
To listen more than you speak. One of the most important tools you have as a leader and future physician is the ability to listen.
Do you know of an AMSALeader who deserves to be recognized? Do you want to share your leadership story with other AMSAmembers? ! One outstanding leader will be featured each month in Â鶹Դ´’s Leader Spotlight on the website.
