FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Sterling, VA—Deborah Vozzella Hall, fourth-year medical student at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine, will begin serving her term as National President of the AMSA(Âé¶¹Ô´´) on May 1, 2015. Hall will work full-time at Âé¶¹Ô´´â€™s national office in Sterling, Virginia, where she will chair the Board of Trustees, represent more than 40,000 physicians-in-training, maintain alliances with other organizations and visit AMSAchapters across the country. She previously held the Board of Trustees positions of President-Elect, Vice President for Internal Affairs and National Secretary.
At the recent AMSAAnnual Convention, Kelly Thibert, a third-year at Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine, was elected President-Elect. She will serve for one year before becoming National President in May 2016. Thibert is currently Âé¶¹Ô´´â€™s Vice President for Internal Affairs and has previously served as National Secretary.The members of the 2015-2016 AMSABoard of Trustees, including those elected at Âé¶¹Ô´´â€™s Annual Convention last month:
